Trent Carter is a 6'3" weak-side linebacker for Louisville wearing number 43. The Jacksonville native attended The Bolles School and joined the Cardinals in 2024 as a three-star recruit. He made his collegiate debut against Austin Peay and appeared in four games his freshman year. In 2025, Carter played in eight games and recorded two total tackles, including one solo tackle and one sack for a 5-yard loss in the season opener versus Eastern Kentucky. He also earned All-ACC Academic honors that season.
