Lunch Winfield is a 6'2", 225-pound quarterback from Lutcher, Louisiana, where he won a state championship with 299 passing yards and three touchdowns while rushing 43 times for 130 yards and a score. After redshirting his freshman year in 2023, Winfield appeared in one bowl game in 2024 against TCU. He assumed the starting role midway through 2025, finishing with 1,555 passing yards and 11 passing touchdowns alongside 667 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns. Notable performances included 243 passing yards and two touchdowns against James Madison, and 139 rushing yards at Troy.
