JJ Garner is a running back for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. A native of Timpson, Texas, Garner arrived as a three-star recruit and compiled significant production at the high school level. During his senior year, he rushed for 1,506 yards and 25 touchdowns, including four games with 200-plus yards. He also threw for 375 yards and two touchdowns at quarterback while recording 65 receiving yards and a score. As a junior, Garner amassed 1,313 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns. He earned first-team all-district honors and District MVP recognition. Garner is in his second year with the program.
