Ty Jones is a safety from Hollywood, Florida who attended Champagnat Catholic High School before playing at Mt. San Antonio College in 2023, where he compiled 21 tackles across 10 games and recorded three interceptions for 58 yards and one touchdown. He transferred to Northern Arizona in 2024, appearing in all 13 games with eight tackles. Jones played the 2025 season at Norfolk State, starting 10 of 12 games and posting 68 tackles (42 solo, 26 assists) along with five pass breakups and one forced fumble. Standing 6'2" and weighing 200 pounds, Jones joins Louisiana Tech as a transfer for the 2026 season.
