Joshua Brantley is a 6'4", 220-pound tight end from Ruston, Louisiana, who transferred to Louisiana Tech from Tulane. A three-star recruit in the 2025 class, Brantley redshirted during his 2025 season at Tulane without appearing in games. At Ruston High School, he was a dual-threat quarterback who threw for 1,169 yards and nine touchdowns while adding 784 rushing yards and 11 rushing scores in 2023. He earned MVP honors after leading Ruston to the 5A state championship during his junior year and guided the team to the state semifinals in 2024. Brantley also competed in track and field, posting a javelin throw of 144 feet, seven inches as a sophomore.
