Amari Butler is a left cornerback for Louisiana Tech who transferred from Pearl River CC. The 5'10", 186-pound senior from Petal, Mississippi appeared in all 13 games during the 2025 season, recording 25 total tackles with 17 solo stops, 0.5 tackles for loss, and three pass breakups. Butler logged six tackles against Southern Miss on September 20 and added four tackles with a pass breakup in the Independence Bowl victory over Coastal Carolina on December 30. At Pearl River CC in 2024, he started nine games and accumulated 28 tackles, three tackles for loss, seven pass breakups, and one forced fumble.
