Makai Jackson is a 6'0", 200-pound wide receiver from Levittown, Pennsylvania, who began his college career at Saint Francis in 2022. As a freshman, he earned 2022 Jerry Rice Award Finalist honors (third in voting) and was named a Stats Perform FCS Freshman All-American and NEC Offensive Rookie of the Year after 12 games. Jackson then spent two seasons at Appalachian State (2023–2024), appearing in 25 games with 73 receptions for 1,163 yards and seven touchdowns, plus 165 kickoff return yards. In 2024, he posted 46 receptions for 745 yards and five touchdowns while leading the team in all-purpose yards with 1,015. He transferred to Liberty ahead of the 2025 season and saw action in four games, recording three receptions for 15 yards and one 11-yard punt return. Jackson is now a redshirt senior and was selected to Phil Steele's CUSA Preseason All-Conference Third Team.
