Ty Bryant is a safety for the Kentucky Wildcats who hails from Lexington, Kentucky, and attended Frederick Douglass High School. A three-star recruit from the 2023 class, Bryant played in all 13 games as a freshman with three starts, recording 40 tackles and earning SEC Co-Freshman of the Week honors after posting 12 tackles against Tennessee. In 2024, he appeared in all 12 games with 10 starts, totaling 41 tackles and adding his first career interception and two forced fumbles. During the 2025 season, Bryant started all 12 games and led the team with 76 tackles while ranking 24th nationally with four interceptions for 70 yards. He earned All-SEC Second Team recognition from coaches and was named a game captain in three contests. Bryant also handled punt-return duties, collecting seven returns for 36 yards.
