Andrew Purcell is a safety for the Kentucky Wildcats listed at 5'10" and 201 pounds. A four-star recruit from Enterprise, Alabama, Purcell was rated the No. 165 player nationally by recruiting services and a consensus top-20 prospect in his state. He was selected for the Alabama North-South All-Star Game. During his high school career, Purcell recorded 37 tackles, 1.0 sacks, and three interceptions, including one pick-six in 2024, earning First Team All-State honors. He also contributed 14 receptions for 520 yards and seven receiving touchdowns. In 2025, his freshman year, Purcell appeared in two games and recorded two tackles.
