Nahzae Cox is a 6'3" wide receiver from Fresno, California, who transferred to Kansas from Middle Tennessee. At Fresno City College, he caught 11 passes for 108 yards and a touchdown as a freshman in 2023, then hauled in 23 receptions for 562 yards and five touchdowns across eight games in 2024. During his 2025 season at Middle Tennessee, Cox appeared in 11 games with nine starts, finishing with 40 receptions for 473 yards and five touchdowns while leading all receivers with 562 snaps played. He logged six catches for 50 yards and two touchdowns in his Blue Raider debut against APSU and recorded six receptions for 94 yards with a touchdown in a home contest versus Marshall.
