Mason Ellis is a 6'2", 200-pound safety for the Kansas Jayhawks. A native of Mulvane, Kansas, Ellis was a recruiting services 3-star recruit in the 2022 class. He redshirted in 2022 and appeared primarily on special teams in 2023 across 11 games. In 2024, Ellis played in four games and totaled seven tackles. During the 2025 season, he appeared in eight games with three starts, recording 18 total tackles (12 solo, 6 assist) and one tackle-for-loss, including his first career TFL against Fresno State and a career-high eight tackles against Missouri.
