Marcus Calvin is a 6'2", 305-pound defensive tackle from St. Petersburg, Florida, who attended Gibbs High School. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, Calvin recorded 76 tackles and seven sacks as a senior before joining Kansas. He redshirted in 2023 and appeared once in 2024 against Lindenwood with one solo tackle. During the 2025 season, Calvin played in 11 games, accumulating 15 total tackles (7 solo, 8 assisted), one sack, one pass deflection, and one tackle for loss. He recorded his first career sack against Oklahoma State, resulting in a six-yard loss.
