Josiah Hammond is a 6'4", 293-pound defensive tackle for the Kansas Jayhawks wearing number 93. The redshirt freshman from Tulsa, Oklahoma, attended Union High School, where he began playing football during his junior year. As a junior in 2023, he recorded 44 tackles, 9.0 tackles-for-loss, and 2.0 sacks and was named to the Oklahoman's Super 30 list. Hammond chose Kansas after receiving 15+ offers from programs including Arizona, Iowa State, and Utah. He did not see game action during the 2025 season as a true freshman.
