Conlee Hovey is a 6'5", 245-pound tight end from Louisburg, Kansas, currently on the Kansas Jayhawks roster as a redshirt freshman. At Louisburg High School, he played both tight end and defensive end under head coach Kade Larson. On the defensive side, Hovey recorded 47 tackles, 5.5 tackles-for-loss, and 3.0 sacks in 2024. As a tight end, he caught 25 passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns. He was ranked the No. 3 tight end in Kansas and earned First Team All-Frontier League honors in 2025, along with a selection to the Kansas Shrine Bowl. Hovey did not see game action in 2025.
