Leyton Cure is a 6'3", 249-pound tight end from Goodland, Kansas, who transferred to Kansas from Fort Hays State. At Fort Hays State in 2022, he appeared in all 11 games with seven starts, recording 26 receptions for 281 yards and two touchdowns. He redshirted in 2021 and missed the 2023 season due to injury. In his first season at Kansas in 2024, Cure played in all 12 games with one start against Colorado. During the 2025 season, he appeared in all 12 games, earning one start at Iowa State.
