Chris McCorkle is a 6'1", 180-pound cornerback from Bradenton, Florida, who attended Cardinal Mooney High School. A three-star recruit, McCorkle was a two-way player in high school, competing at both wide receiver and cornerback under coach Jared Clark. During his junior season in 2023, he recorded 14 tackles, nine pass breakups, and four interceptions on defense while catching eight passes for 186 yards. He helped lead Cardinal Mooney to the 2023 state title, scoring the go-ahead touchdown and recording an interception in the championship game. McCorkle signed with Kansas over 20+ offers.
