Sterling Lockett, a 5'10" wide receiver from Leawood, Kansas, joined Kansas State as a redshirt in 2022 after starring at Blue Valley High School, where he recorded 65 career receptions for 1,018 yards and 10 touchdowns. He appeared in two games during 2023 before seeing limited offensive snaps in 2024 across 12 games as a reserve receiver and kick returner. In 2025, Lockett played in all 12 contests, recording three receptions for 39 yards while handling primary punt-return duties with 13 returns for 56 yards and two kickoff returns for 44 yards. He earned Academic All-Big 12 honors in both 2024 and 2025. Lockett graduated in December 2025 with a degree in business management and is pursuing an MBA.
