Sawyer Schilke is a linebacker for Kansas State who stands 6'3" and weighs 230 pounds. The Kearney, Nebraska native was a three-star prospect in the Class of 2025, ranked as the 46th-best inside linebacker by national outlets and the eighth-best overall prospect in Nebraska. At Kearney High School under coach Brandon Cool, Schilke recorded 207 career tackles, 30 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks while establishing the school record for career TFLs. He earned first-team all-state honors twice from the Omaha World-Herald and Super State first-team accolades as a junior and senior. Schilke redshirted during the 2025 season and is a returning roster member.
