Robert Hammond III is a placekicker and kickoff specialist from West Palm Beach, Florida, who attended Cardinal Gibbons High School before playing at Florida Atlantic University and the University of Toledo. At Toledo in 2025, he appeared in all 13 games and led the MAC with a 62.9-yard average on 71 kickoffs, recording 43 touchbacks for a 60.6% touchback percentage. He made a pair of field goals in the Boca Raton Bowl, including a 50-yarder, and posted perfect touchback rates in contests against Western Kentucky (8-for-8) and Morgan State (7-for-8). Hammond transfers to Kansas State as a redshirt junior.
