Simon McClannan, a redshirt junior punter and kickoff specialist from Omaha, Nebraska, enters the 2026 season ranked fifth in Kansas State history with a career punting average of 42.43 yards. During the 2025 campaign, he averaged 42.5 yards on 48 punts, placing 13 inside the opponent's 20-yard line and recording 13 punts of 50 or more yards. McClannan earned Ray Guy Award National Punter of the Week honors after posting a 51.0-yard average against UCF, which included a career-long 65-yard punt. On 70 kickoffs, he averaged 62.6 yards with 39 touchbacks. An Academic All-Big 12 selection, McClannan ranks 13th in school history in punting average.
