Luis Rodriguez is a placekicker for Kansas State who transferred from College of the Canyons. The Sylmar, California native attended Verdugo Hills High School, where he was named the league's kicker/punter of the year. At the junior college level in 2024, Rodriguez made 21 field goals on 25 attempts with a long of 54 yards while converting all 31 extra-point tries, earning All-America honors. In his 2025 debut season with the Wildcats, he connected on 13 of 15 field goal attempts and made all 42 extra-point attempts. His 51-yard field goal against Arizona tied for the 25th-longest in school history. Rodriguez earned 2025 Academic All-Big 12 recognition and totaled 81 points on the season.
