Terrence Jones is a safety who transferred to James Madison from Fordham University. The Prosper, Texas native played defensive utility for Prosper High School, where he recorded 55 tackles, two interceptions, and nine pass breakups as a senior. At Fordham, Jones started all 12 games in 2025, accumulating 54 tackles including 38 solo stops, along with 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, and nine pass breakups. He earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and recorded seven tackles in two separate contests during the season.
