Javis Mynatt is a free safety from Knoxville, Tennessee, who attended Knoxville Catholic before playing three seasons at Texas State. At Wofford (2022–2024), he appeared in all games across his first two years, recording 31 tackles and two interceptions in 2024 while making the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll. In 2025 with Texas State, Mynatt played in all 13 games with four starts, accumulating 32 tackles including 16 solo stops, one sack, and one forced fumble. He registered six tackles in the Armed Forces Bowl and recorded five stops in two separate contests. Mynatt now joins James Madison as a transfer.
