Josh Manecke is an offensive lineman from Downers Grove, Illinois, where he lettered at Downers Grove South High School and earned All-State, All-Area, and All-Conference honors. He was a multi-sport athlete who also competed in baseball and track and field, and was a two-time Illinois All-Academic Team selection. Manecke played college football at Army West Point before transferring to James Madison. During the 2024 season at Army, he did not see game action. In 2025, he appeared in one game, making his collegiate debut in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl versus UConn on December 27.
