Andrew Bennett is a punter from Thomasville, Georgia, who transferred to James Madison from Charlotte. At his high school, he was ranked the #26 punter nationally and recorded a career-long 65-yard punt during his junior season. As a senior, he averaged 39.6 yards across 56 attempts, placing 18 inside the 20-yard line. Bennett did not appear in games during his two seasons at Charlotte and made the American Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll. He enters his redshirt sophomore transfer season with the Dukes.
