Justus Savage is a running back for Jacksonville State who hails from Atlanta and attended Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Georgia. A three-star recruit ranked 1,115 overall in the 2024 class, Savage redshirted in 2024 without appearing in games. In 2025, his first year of eligibility, he played in five contests and carried the ball 12 times for 58 yards, averaging 4.8 yards per attempt. He made his career debut against Delaware on October 15, recording 13 yards on four carries, then added 42 yards on seven carries in the bowl game victory over Troy.
