Jameson Scissum is a tight end from Attalla, Alabama, where he attended Etowah High School. As a quarterback and pitcher, he completed 60% of his passes for 2,056 yards and 21 touchdowns while also rushing for 935 yards and three touchdowns. He finished 12th in the state in total yardage with 2,991 yards and earned most valuable player honors in Etowah's 4A state championship game in 2023. Scissum, ranked fifth among right-handed pitchers in Alabama by Perfect Game, plans to play baseball for Jacksonville State alongside football.
