Jacob Cornejo is a running back for Jacksonville State, standing 6'0" and weighing 212 pounds. The Centre, Alabama native attended Cherokee County High School before spending two seasons at NAIA Cumberland University in Tennessee. As a freshman, he rushed for 538 yards and five touchdowns, including 163 yards and two scores against Faulkner and 120 yards with a touchdown in his debut against St. Andrews. His sophomore year saw 854 yards and nine touchdowns on 189 carries, with three 100-yard performances highlighted by 187 yards on 21 carries against Cumberlands.
