Deondre Johnson is a 6'8" wide receiver from Newburgh, NY, who played two seasons at Rutgers before transferring to Jacksonville State. In his 2025 debut with the Gamecocks, Johnson appeared in all 14 games with 13 starts, recording 30 receptions for 724 yards and six touchdowns. He led the team in receiving yards and touchdowns while posting a long of 77 yards. Johnson had four games exceeding 100 receiving yards, including a breakout performance against Middle Tennessee with four catches for 131 yards and two scores. He earned Honorable Mention All-CUSA honors for 2025 and was selected as a Phil Steele Preseason All-CUSA Second-Team selection for 2026.
