Colton Pitchford is a 5'11", 190-pound wide receiver from Columbus, Texas, where he played for Columbus High School under head coach Matt Schobel. As a senior in 2022, Pitchford recorded 51 receptions for 1,065 yards and ten touchdowns while also contributing defensively with 80 tackles, ten deflections, and eight interceptions, helping the Cardinals to a 12-2 record. At Jacksonville State, Pitchford appeared in two games during 2023 and saw special teams action in 11 games in 2024, including making a tackle in the CUSA opener at Kennesaw State on October 4. In 2025, he played in six games, primarily on kickoff coverage, and caught one pass for three yards against Murray State on September 20.
