Bio

Michael Burt is a 6'5" tight end for the Iowa Hawkeyes wearing number 80. A true freshman from Omaha, Nebraska, he attended Creighton Prep, where he earned three letters playing tight end, defensive end and long snapper. In high school, Burt caught 11 passes for 187 yards and a touchdown in 2022 and three touchdowns in 2023. He also received first-team Super State honors from the Grand Island Independent and all-state recognition from the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star. Burt made his collegiate debut in Iowa's 42-10 win over Wisconsin in 2024 but recorded no statistics. He appeared in seven games during the 2025 season without registering statistics.
