George Nahas is a 6'3", 295-pound offensive lineman from West Des Moines, Iowa, who prepped at Dowling Catholic High School. As a senior, he helped lead Dowling to an 11-2 record and a class 5A state semifinal appearance while the offense averaged more than 175 yards per game rushing. He was named 2022 IPSWA 5A Second Team All-State. Nahas redshirted during his 2023 season at Iowa State before joining Iowa as a transfer. He has been a Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree in Fall 2023, Spring 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025. Currently a sophomore, Nahas did not appear in games during 2025.
