Alex Mota is a 6'0", 195-pound right cornerback from Marion, Iowa, where he earned first-team Class 4A all-state honors as both a junior and senior. A three-year football letterman, Mota ranked third in school history in all-purpose yards and served as team captain his senior year. He was a 3-star recruit in the 2023 class. After redshirting in 2023 and seeing no action in 2024, Mota played in four games during the 2025 season and recorded his first career assisted tackle in a 37-0 shutout at Wisconsin. He is currently a redshirt junior majoring in sport and recreation management.
