Zane Flores is a quarterback from Gretna, Nebraska, standing 6'3" and weighing 215 pounds. At Gretna High School, he was named 2022 MaxPreps Nebraska Player of the Year and led the Dragons to the Class A state championship game as a senior, passing for 414 yards and three touchdowns in that contest. Over three seasons as a starter, he compiled more than 9,000 passing yards and 82 touchdowns while adding 29 rushing scores. Flores redshirted in 2023 after committing to Oklahoma State, then missed the 2024 season on a medical hardship waiver. In 2025, he appeared in nine games with eight starts, completing 159-of-266 passes for 1,490 yards and three touchdowns, including a season-high 235 yards with two scores against Kansas. He transferred to Iowa State for the 2026 season.
