Trevor Fortenberry, a 6'3" wide receiver from Brookhaven, Mississippi, attended Brookhaven Academy before transferring to Iowa State. At Brookhaven Academy, he recorded 47 receptions for 933 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior. Fortenberry spent time at Copiah-Lincoln CC, where he redshirted in 2024 due to injury. In 2025, he appeared in nine games, catching 12 passes for 136 yards as Co-Lin finished 8-2. His brother, Tyler, plays tight end for the Cyclones.
