Micah Harper is a free safety from Chandler, Arizona, who prepped at Basha High School before playing at BYU and Montana. He redshirted in 2021, then appeared in 11 games with five starts as a freshman in 2020, recording 25 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. In 2022, Harper played all 13 games with nine starts, finishing third on BYU with 62 tackles while adding 2.5 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. An injury sidelined him for the 2023 season. He saw action in seven games in 2024, including the season opener against Southern Illinois, with a season-high five tackles against Kansas State. In 2025 at Montana, Harper started all 15 games, tallying 45 tackles, two interceptions, seven passes defended, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He returned an interception against Portland State 55 yards to set up a touchdown. Harper now plays for Iowa State.
