Malcolm Watkins is a wide receiver from Bakersfield, California, who attended Frontier High School under head coach Chris Bandy. A three-star prospect ranked No. 22 overall athlete and No. 60 overall prospect in California by Rivals, Watkins played both ways for the Vikings. As a junior, he recorded 33 receptions for 652 yards and six touchdowns while earning All-South Yosemite River League First Team honors, helping Frontier to an 11-4 record and state championship. In his senior season, Watkins caught 46 passes for 768 yards and eight touchdowns while adding 27 tackles on defense. He now joins Iowa State as a true freshman. From Frontier · Bakersfield, CA.
