Cody Jackson is a wide receiver from Richmond, Texas, who prepped at Foster High School as a consensus four-star recruit. He initially committed to Oklahoma, redshirting in 2021 before appearing in two games with five receptions for 45 yards. After playing in four games at Houston in 2022, Jackson transferred to Tarleton State, where he sat out 2023. In 2024, he played in all 14 games with seven starts, recording 29 receptions for 490 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 16.9 yards per reception. During the 2025 season, Jackson started 13 games for the 12-2 Tarleton State squad, earning Second Team All-United Athletic Conference honors with 53 receptions for 799 yards and six touchdowns. He concludes his Tarleton State career having appeared in 27 games and amassed 82 receptions for 1,289 yards and 14 touchdowns. Jackson now joins Iowa State as a transfer.
