Makai Sat is a 6'2", 335-pound offensive lineman from Santa Maria, California, currently a redshirt junior at Iowa State. After prepping at St. Joseph High School, where the offense averaged 215.5 rushing yards per game and 38.9 points per game, Sat transferred to Allan Hancock College. Playing two seasons there, he appeared in 21 games and earned First-Team All-Conference honors in 2024 and Second-Team selection in 2023. During his sophomore year, the offensive unit averaged 34.9 points and 216 rushing yards per game en route to a 6-5 record and Southern California Bowl appearance. Sat earned Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition in fall 2025 and returns for the Cyclones.
