Jaden Weaver is a true freshman left defensive end at Iowa State who stands 6'3" and weighs 300 pounds. A native of Chicago, he attended Carl Sandburg High School under head coach Sheamus Murphy, where he earned three-star prospect status and ranked among the top 50 players in Illinois by the composite recruiting rankings. During his senior season, Weaver recorded 61 tackles, 18 for loss, and six sacks while adding a fumble recovery and an interception as Carl Sandburg finished 7-3 and secured a co-conference championship—the program's first since 1995. He earned first-team all-conference honors and 2025 IHSFCA Class 8A All-State Honorable Mention recognition.
