Jacob Lyftogt is a long snapper from Waunakee, Wisconsin, where he was ranked No. 51 at his position nationally by Kohl's rankings. At Waunakee High School, he helped the program to three consecutive conference titles and a 2021 Division 2 state championship. Lyftogt redshirted in 2023 before appearing on Iowa State's roster in 2024 and 2025. A construction engineering major, he has earned Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition multiple times. His father, Jason, played football at Iowa State.
