Tyler Cherry is a quarterback for the Indiana Hoosiers standing 6'5" and weighing 220 pounds. A native of Greenwood, Indiana, Cherry played for Center Grove High School under head coach Eric Moore, where he posted a 23-4 record as a starter and accumulated 5,461 passing yards with 56 passing touchdowns across his prep career. He was rated a four-star prospect and ranked among the top 15 quarterback prospects nationally. Cherry made his collegiate debut in Week 2 of the 2024 season versus Western Illinois on September 6, appearing in one game and leading a fourth-quarter scoring drive.
