Josh Hoover is a quarterback from Heath, Texas who played four collegiate seasons at TCU (2022-25) before entering the transfer portal. Over 35 career games with 31 starts, he compiled 9,629 passing yards and 71 touchdown passes. Hoover set a TCU single-season record with 3,949 passing yards in 2024 and earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors that year. In 2025, his junior season, he started 12 games and threw for 300 yards on five occasions while recording his first collegiate five-touchdown pass game against SMU. He was named a team captain twice during his tenure at TCU and holds the program's second-best career completion percentage at 65.2. Hoover now joins Indiana as a transfer.
