Sam Simpson is a right guard for the Indiana Hoosiers. The 6'3", 304-pound true freshman from River Falls, Wisconsin, played offensive line at River Falls High School under head coach Ryan Scherz. Simpson earned consensus three-star ratings from recruiting services, and ranked as the No. 4 recruit in Wisconsin and a top-70 offensive lineman nationally across all three major services. He was named to the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association first-team All-State as both a junior and senior and earned three consecutive first-team Big Rivers Conference honors.
