Ben Novak is a 6'6", 317-pound right guard from Crown Point, Indiana, who played prep football at Andrean High School under head coach Chris Skinner. A consensus three-star prospect, Novak was rated as a top-15 recruit in Indiana and a top-80 offensive lineman nationally by recruiting services. As a junior, he earned Indiana Prep Underclassmen All-State honors and first-team All-Northwest Crossroads Conference selection, helping Andrean reach the IHSAA Class 2A state final four while the offense averaged 132.9 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns per game. His senior season, Novak was again named first-team All-Northwest Crossroads Conference and helped lead Andrean to the Class 2A state title, with the team averaging 169.6 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns.
