Kevontay Hugan is a 6'1", 227-pound true freshman linebacker for the Indiana Hoosiers from Sarasota, Florida, who attended Booker High School. A four-star recruit ranked 327th nationally in the 2026 class, Hugan was tabbed a top-200 prospect by recruiting services and a consensus top-80 prospect in Florida. At Booker, he recorded 51 tackles with 32.0 tackles for loss and 13.0 sacks during his senior season, which included back-to-back Class 3A State Final Four appearances. Over his high school career, Hugan accumulated 118 tackles with 36.0 tackles for loss and 18.0 sacks as a junior, along with 46 stops and 16.5 tackles for loss as a sophomore.
