Amare Ferrell is a 6'2", 205-pound safety for the Indiana Hoosiers who enters his senior season in 2026. A native of Lake City, Florida, Ferrell played high school football at Columbia. He appeared in all 12 games as a true freshman in 2023 without redshirting and made his collegiate debut against No. 3/4 Ohio State. In 2024, his sophomore year, Ferrell started 13 games and posted his first career multi-interception performance at Michigan State on November 2, grabbing two second-quarter picks. During the 2025 season, he appeared in all 16 games with 15 starts, recording 26 solo tackles, 48 total tackles, 4 interceptions for 17 yards, 6 pass breakups, and 2 tackles for loss.
