Zafir Stewart is a right tackle for Illinois, standing 6'6" and weighing 350 pounds. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Stewart attended Imhotep Charter High School, where he earned three-star recruiting status from recruiting services. He ranked #56 among interior offensive linemen per national outlets and #28 in Pennsylvania according to recruiting services. Stewart redshirted during his 2024 freshman season and appeared in one game in 2025 as a sophomore. He is a communication major and returns to the Illini as a redshirt sophomore for the 2026 season.
