Nathan Knapik is a 6'7", 300-pound right tackle from Kennewick, Washington who transferred to Illinois with four years of eligibility remaining. A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Knapik played five games during his freshman year at Idaho before redshirting. In 2025, he appeared in four contests for the Fighting Illini, including one start at left tackle. His first career appearance at the position came in the Music City Bowl on 12/30/25 against #23 Tennessee. Knapik was a two-time all-conference first team offensive lineman and Idaho Lineman of the Year as a senior at Kennewick High School, where he helped lead the program to a 3A state title in 2021.
