Ty Robinson is a 6'4", 200-pound wide receiver from Aurora, Colorado, who attended Eaglecrest High School. A three-star recruit in the 2021 class, Robinson began his college career at Colorado, appearing in 11 games as a freshman with six receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown. He played 11 games as a sophomore in 2022, recording three receptions for 31 yards. Robinson then transferred to Ball State, where he appeared in two games as a redshirted junior in 2023 (six receptions, 111 yards, one touchdown) and three games in 2024 (five receptions, 69 yards, one touchdown) before playing in 10 games in 2025 with 11 receptions for 113 yards. He transferred to Illinois with one year of eligibility remaining and is a redshirt senior in 2026.
